Global Indemnity, a nationwide insurance firm, was undergoing a multi-floor office reconfiguration with a timeline of 30 days to complete. InterWork Office Solutions’ detailed planning and continued communication were critical to reaching our client’s goals and facility deadlines. Large-scale reconfigurations can be a challenge that requires thorough planning and strong execution. For this project, the client’s source of concern was that this office reconfiguration could result in a loss of employee productivity and increased employee downtime throughout the project. The facilities team at Global Indemnity needed a project development team that understood the importance of detailed planning to reach tight deadlines and respond to unexpected changes.

InterWork Office Solutions is an office logistics company with over 30 years of experience in office space decommissions, relocations, reconfigurations, asset management, and furniture & installation. This project required experts to accurately devise a plan that would ensure that Global Indemnity remained completely operational throughout the project. InterWork’s project development managers created a detailed 3-phased plan that allowed for the multi-floor reconfiguration to host a swing space. A swing space is used as a temporary makeshift employee workspace during project duration. This allows for a completely functional area for employees to have an uninterrupted office space during the project.

In the allotted timeframe, we were able to:

  • Reconfigure and redesign the new office layout to fit additional workstations
  • Patch and paint, sustainable disposal, and broom sweep.
  • Remove and reinstall FF&E to be upgraded or decommissioned.
  • Install new furniture, electrical disconnects, and low voltage remediation.
