Solutions

InterWork developed a structured, multi-phase execution plan to manage both the decommission and redistribution with minimal disruption. The project unfolded over two initial phases: one month to complete one side of the building, followed by another month for the remaining half. Following decommissioning, InterWork managed a 12-month redistribution program that spanned more than 20 locations across multiple states.

 

A key pillar of the project involved temporarily staging a large volume of assets at InterWork’s local warehouse. This approach allowed for efficient sorting, storage, and redeployment to PNC’s regional offices as needs evolved.

 

InterWork’s project managers were present on-site at all times, both at the origin and destination locations, personally overseeing each phase of work. Their continuous presence ensured seamless communication, precise coordination of crews and schedules, and rapid issue resolution. This high-touch, hands-on management approach underscored InterWork’s depth of expertise and commitment to operational excellence.

 

Sustainability was embedded throughout the project. InterWork leveraged its network of nonprofit organizations and LEED-compliant recycling facilities to donate, repurpose, and recycle assets responsibly, maximizing reuse and minimizing waste.
